As we step into 2026, we find ourselves full of ideas, stories, and color dreams for the year ahead at Pink Pearl. This is the vision we see right now in January: a year shaped by story-led color, slow-making, and collections that follow the seasons’ rhythms. We’re sharing a gentle glimpse of what we hope to create, like turning the first few pages of a book together, knowing the story may still surprise us as it unfolds.
Winter Hymn
January – February
We begin the year in quiet beauty with Winter Hymn, a folk-inspired music and yarn journey. Each week, a new colorway releases alongside a song, unfolding like verses in a winter story.
The full album arrives in February with a final bonus track — a closing note to the season of stillness.
Via Cordis
Season of Lent
During Lent, Pink Pearl turns toward reflection and grounded beauty with Via Cordis (The Way of the Heart), a story-led collection inspired by stillness, earth, and inward growth.
Each week, a new color emerges, forming a palette of rooted, natural tones that feel quiet, steady, and deeply connected to the season.
This collection pairs with a novella designed for slow reading and making, a gentle companion for the journey.
Theo: The Bear in the Blue Ridge
Sharp Top Fiber Gathering
Spring brings a playful new chapter: Theo, a curious young bear setting out on his first adventure through the Blue Ridge Mountains. This story-inspired collection will include fresh spring colorways and a few special yarns designed with texture and pattern play in mind.
We hope to bring Theo and his world to life through both yarn and handmade companions as he journeys toward the top of Sharp Top.
April 17th and 18th at the Sedalia Center in Big Island, VA
Early summer at Pink Pearl leans into joy and memory. This collection is inspired by childhood summers, bright afternoons, and the kind of colors that feel like laughter and sticky fingers.
Expect playful hues and a sense of carefree creativity.
Julia Turns 40
This summer marks a milestone at Pink Pearl, as Julia, the creative heart behind the yarns and stories, turns forty. July’s collection is a celebration of the journey that led here — filled with imagination, playfulness, and the kind of wonder that belongs to long summer days.
Expect colors inspired by mermaids, sea creatures, ocean light, and treasures waiting beneath the waves. This season leans into joy, curiosity, and a sense of storybook adventure, with hues that feel bright, lively, and full of movement.
Fun fact: Forty is known as the ruby anniversary year, and while a birthday isn’t quite the same as an anniversary, ruby happens to be Julia’s birthstone. So alongside ocean-inspired tones, you might spot some glowing shades that quietly nod to that joyful red.
Late summer carries a sense of return. We’re hoping to take Pink Pearl’s yarn stories on the road — all the way to Julia’s mitten-state home.
This season is about gathering, sharing, and bringing the year’s colors into new spaces filled with fiber friends and familiar skies. Wherever the road leads, late summer will be stitched with travel, community, and the joy of seeing handmade stories travel a little farther.
As the air cools, our colors turn toward comfort and memory. Early autumn draws inspiration from shared meals, open fields, old songs, and well-loved traditions. This season is about warmth, connection, and the beauty of everyday life.
October at Pink Pearl leans into mystery! Soft shadows, golden light, and the quiet magic of changing seasons. A collection for cozy evenings and thoughtful making.
November’s palette is inspired by thankfulness and gathering. These colors feel like home, like shared tables and full hearts, honoring the beauty of ordinary blessings.
As this is also Thom’s birth month, you may notice a few playful threads woven in — small nods to imagination, music, and story elements that reflect the things he loves. Nothing loud, just quiet details tucked into the season, like hidden notes in a favorite song.
December at Pink Pearl returns us to story. This year, we’ll be following Sandy’s Journey, a gentle nativity tale brought to life with crochet characters, soft storytelling, and quiet wonder
Alongside the story, we’re planning to offer two seasonal collections:
The Candlelight Collection — Weekly mini skeins of yarn for each Sunday of Advent and
The Advent Collection — a daily unfolding of yarn colors as we count down to Christmas
Together, these collections will center on comfort, anticipation, and the kind of creative joy that feels both nostalgic and new.
These plans are our hopeful outline for the year, held with open hands. We trust that as the months unfold, some details may grow clearer, some paths may shift, and new inspiration may lead us somewhere unexpected. Wherever the story goes, we look forward to walking it with you — one skein, one story, one season at a time.
