The Weaver’s Light

Advent Yarn & Story Set

The Weaver’s Light invites you into a winter tale of warmth, wonder, and the love that binds us together.

Paired with 24 hand-dyed mini skeins and a final full skein, this Advent box is designed to guide your December one soft moment at a time.
A devotional practice made tactile — one stitch, one page, one breath.

A story you can hold in your hands.

This is not just a yarn kit.
It is a story you open slowly—one evening at a time.

Each night (or each Sunday) of Advent, you’ll:

Open a mysterious mini-skein
Read the chapter that reveals its name
Watch the story — and your yarn — unfold together

By candlelight, by quiet, by the gentle rhythm of making.

This season invites us to slow down.
To create with intention.
To wait with hope.
To remember that light always grows.

There are three ways to join the journey:

About Mystery & Making

The colors remain a secret until they are opened —
just as the light of Advent blooms slowly, day by day.

And the patterns?
They are still taking shape — in real time — the way all good handmade things are born.
There will be one knit and one Tunisian crochet project.

We will make them together.
One stitch.
One chapter.
One quiet evening at a time.

A Novella for Advent

A soft, illustrated book cover featuring a warm, storybook-style scene of a loom beside a glowing window in a candlelit cottage. Snow falls gently outside, and golden light fills the room. The title reads “The Weaver’s Light,” with an atmosphere that feels cozy, reflective, and full of quiet wonder.

This little winter novella was written to be read slowly — one evening at a time, with a candle lit and yarn in hand. The Weaver’s Light is a gentle tale of hope, quiet courage, and the beauty woven into ordinary days. If the story has spoken to your heart, you can order a hardcover to keep or gift below. Autumn Bloom

The first Pink Pearl Yarns collection is here —
meant to feel like warm hands around a mug,
a soft shawl at dusk,
a deep breath you didn’t know you needed.

Meet Autumn Bloom.

Deep water. Steady flame. Joy rising. Morning returning.
A small story in four hues.

Yarn Content

Fiber: 100% Superwash Merino Wool — DK Weight

Yardage: ~231 yards / 100g
Origin: Hand-dyed in small batches in Lynchburg, VA
Made with: love, prayer, joy, and a deep appreciation for the hands that will stitch with it.

Each skein in the Autumn Bloom collection is dyed slowly and intentionally — colors layered like memory, echoing seasonal warmth, quiet growth, and gentle, everyday wonder.

Care Instructions

To help your yarn stay soft and vibrant for years to come:

  • Hand wash gently in cool water
  • Use a mild wool wash or gentle soap
  • Do not agitate — this helps prevent felting
  • Lay flat to dry on a towel, reshaping as needed
  • Store out of direct sunlight to preserve color

Superwash yarn is more forgiving than untreated wool — but kindness and patience will always keep fiber happy.

A Note on Color

Because every dyebath varies just a touch, your skein is one-of-a-kind — a small piece of story, ready to be shaped by yours.  Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings and lighting — but every skein is dyed from the same inspiration story, ensuring harmony across your project.

If you’re working on a multi-skein project, we recommend alternating skeins every few rows to blend subtle variations beautifully.

Community & Sharing

We love to see your creations!

Tag your finished pieces with #PinkPearlYarns and #AutumnBloomCollection so we can celebrate your work — and occasionally feature makers in our Yarn In the Wild gallery.

Your hands complete the story.

Why We Create & Share

Pink Pearl is more than yarn— it is a community of makers who believe that creativity can heal, connect, and kindle hope. Every skein we dye and every kit we assemble is part of our mission to nurture belonging, build beauty together, and offer handmade comfort to those who need it most.

The yarn and kits you’ll find here are not simply products — they are invitations.

Invitations to create slowly.
To gather in community.
To make something with love.
And, when you choose, to give that love away.

Many of our kits are designed to be used in acts of service — scarves for shelters, blankets for children in care, shawls for those walking through difficult seasons. Some are made simply to bring joy, color, warmth, and peace to the maker’s own hands and home. Both are holy work.

When you purchase yarn or a kit from Pink Pearl:

  • You support community crafting gatherings and workshops
  • You help provide materials and creative care for partner organizations
  • You help someone feel seen, held, and remembered

All proceeds remain in the nonprofit and directly further our mission of creative compassion.

Your making matters — more than you know.
Thank you for weaving hope with us.

All orders are shipped from our cozy studio here in Lynchburg, Virginia, carefully wrapped and packaged to protect the yarn.

If you do not add shipping to your order, I will automatically process it as a local pickup in Lynchburg. If this happens by accident, send me a message — we’ll fix it easily.

Local Pick Up

Yes! Local pickup is available in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Once your order is ready, I’ll reach out to coordinate a pickup time that works for both of us.

What yarn bases do you use?

All bases are chosen for their:

  • Softness
  • Wearability
  • And joy in the hand

Each collection will list the exact fiber content, weight, and yardage.

When can I expect my yarn?

Because everything is hand-dyed in small batches, please allow 3–5 business days for packing and processing.
Once shipped, orders usually arrive in 2–5 business days depending on location.

If you need something sooner, just reach out — We’ll let you know what’s possible.

Will this colorway be available again?

Pink Pearl Yarns works in story collections.
This means each colorway is part of a seasonal or thematic release.
Some colorways may return, some may evolve, and some remain special to one moment in time.

That’s part of the magic

Why do you describe your yarn as “story-driven”?

Each colorway is designed from a moment, a prayer, a memory, a season, or a story — color as meaning, not just pigment.
We believe yarn can carry hope, comfort, and tenderness into the world through your hands.

Will my yarn look exactly like the photos?

Every skein is hand-dyed, which means each one has its own little personality.
Colors may vary slightly from screen to real life, depending on lighting and display settings — but the overall story, mood, and palette will be the same. Which is why we try to take photos in a variety of lighting, sharing the bundles, hanks, cakes, and projects as we are able.

Think of it like siblings, not identical twins.

Can you dye sweater quantities?

This is something that we are excited to work toward. Creating custom colors in sweater quantities!

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because of the nature of small-batch hand-dyed yarn, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once the yarn has been shipped.
However — if something arrives damaged or incorrect, please reach out right away.
we will always take care of you.

How often do new yarns release?

Pink Pearl Yarns is still very new — we are discovering our rhythm with gentle intention.

Right now, we work slowly and with care as we build our dyeing capacity and receive shipments from our mill.
Our long-term goal is to offer:

  • Small weekly releases of new yarn story collections
  • Monthly “chapter” collections with poetry or short stories
  • Quarterly special boxes + novellas (like The Weaver’s Light)

We are growing with patience, joy, and a sense of wonder — and we’re grateful you’re here to watch the story unfold.

Do you do trunk shows or pop-up events?

Yes! Our first trunk show will be November 29th at The Stitch Witch in Bedford, VA — and I would love to be part of more maker spaces, yarn shops, and local creative communities.
If you’re a shop owner or event organizer and feel like Pink Pearl Yarns would be a good fit, please reach out — I’d love to chat and dream together.

Do I have to share your faith to enjoy the yarns (or the stories)?

Not at all.
Pink Pearl Yarns is rooted in our own faith and the belief that creativity is a gift that connects us — but it is never a requirement for belonging here.

You’ll find gentle themes of:

  • Hope
  • Light
  • Restoration
  • Joy
  • Love

woven throughout the colorways and stories — but the yarns are for anyone who loves slow making, beauty, and the warmth of handmade things.

Whether you share our beliefs, come from a different faith tradition, or simply enjoy color and craft — you are welcome here.
Truly, welcome.
